Canadian CIO

You’re in the butter zone now, baby.

It’s been awhile since I’ve had the time to look at this site, so I wanted to give a quick update on where I went for those followers who have wondered where it is that I’ve been hiding.

First off, I haven’t stopped blogging per-say.  I’ve actually started working with the fine folks at both Informationweek.com and IT.Toolbox.com to act as one of their cloud experts where I basically answer any questions related to cloud, and ofcourse comment on all the wonderful posts.  You can find me under Stratustician.

Additionally, I’ve been busy helping cloud startups through marketing efforts and helping them get content so the world can hear about some of the awesome services and solutions from these folks.  Tied to this is my involvement in one of our Cloud industry groups here in Canada, Cloud Computing Best Practices (cloudbestpractices.net) which is focused on helping more startups here in Canada get off the ground.  Very exciting times indeed.

And lastly, but certainly not least, you can read an excerpt of my book, Deconstructing Cloud, in this month’s CanadianCIOCanadian CIO magazine which you can read over at epubs.itworldcanada.com/t/8060
